One current need at the secondary level is identification and evaluation of those students who are termed learning disabled. This study of 215 students, 117 classified as "regular" and 98 classified as "learning disabled," was devised to provide additional information in regard to an effective differentiating measurement for making the distinction between regular and learning disabled. The High School Personality Questionnaire (HSPQ) appears, from the results of the study, to have a valuable contribution to make as a differentiating diagnostic instrument, as a screening device, and as a measure of progress once a student is included in classes for the learning disabled.
