The University of Pittsburgh's Psychoeducational Clinic

Louis A. Chandler, PhD

Don J. Siegel, PhD

Don Siegel is a psychologist with the Exceptional Childrne's Program at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. He formerly served as the clinic associate and student coordinator at the Psychoeducational Clinic. He received his PhD degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

The University of Pittsburgh's Psychoeducational Clinic is described here. The purpose of the clinic is to assist parents and teachers in understanding children and their problems so that effective and efficient intervention can be applied. To further that understanding, the clinic employs a decision-making model for the clinical assessment of children with learning and behavior problems. In addition to its service function, the clinic provides a facility for student training and research.
