Statistics for the Interpretation of Bannatyne Recategorizations of WPPSI Subtests

Bannatyne recategorizations of the WPPSI subtests were developed. Statistics related to the scores for each category were computed based on the WPPSI standardization sample, including the mean, standard deviation, reliability coefficient, standard error of measurement, and deviation from the mean of all categories required for significance at three probability levels. Suggestions for the use of this information in WPPSI interpretation are provided.
