Discussing Diagnostic Findings with Parents

Discussing diagnostic findings can be a dynamic process that is an initial step in building a therapeutic milieu. Sharing information and emotions with a client or family demands planning and skill. A basic outline and set of principles is presented for the clinician to follow.
